When we allow ourselves to experience the present moment and not get caught up in the past or the future, we see what we have been missing all along: the beauty in simplicity and the wondrous life we truly live.

Writing is one of the best ways to see what has been and where you are going. Journaling is a simple way to still your mind and enjoy the present moment. Enter your thoughts and worries each day in your journal and make a list of things to do that day on a separate sheet or notebook then be done! You won't have to keep worrying that you are forgetting something and each time your mind tries to return to worry or think about something you wrote in your journal, simply say to yourself "done" and bring your mind back to the present moment. It's amazing how well this works and how much you will learn about yourself! As you go along, try to go towards more positive thinking and see the joy enter your life and your worries fade.
